Description We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our client's team in Little Rock, Arkansas. Responsibilities: • Oversee and manage the company’s bond and investment portfolio, ensuring compliance and accuracy. • Perform reconciliations for securities and cash accounts to maintain financial integrity. • Prepare and post month-end journal entries, maintaining the general ledger with precision. • Assist in the preparation and submission of regulatory filings in adherence to industry standards. • Support annual financial statement audits by providing accurate documentation and analysis. • Contribute to budgeting processes by compiling data and performing financial analysis. • Undertake special analytical projects to provide insights and drive informed decision-making. • Ensure accounts are reconciled regularly to prevent discrepancies and maintain accuracy. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required. • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in public accounting or corporate accounting. • Knowledge of financial services industry practices and regulations is essential. • CPA certification or progress toward certification is highly preferred. • Proficiency in month-end close processes and general ledger maintenance. • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail. • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
