Sr. Accountant
Description We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team in Seattle, Washington. In this role, you will oversee the preparation and analysis of financial reports, ensuring compliance with U.S. accounting standards and principles. You will play a key part in maintaining the integrity of financial data while supporting month-end and year-end processes. Responsibilities: • Analyze complex financial reports and records to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. • Prepare detailed financial statements and assist in budget creation and management. • Develop and maintain financial reporting checklists to meet U.S. compliance requirements. • Conduct variance analyses and reconcile accounts to ensure data accuracy. • Review and enhance accounting systems and procedures to improve efficiency and reliability. • Participate in setting and implementing financial standards across the organization. • Respond to external audit inquiries and provide necessary documentation. • Support month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring deadlines are met. • Document and refine business processes and accounting policies to strengthen internal controls. • Collaborate with team members and management, taking ownership of assigned tasks with minimal supervision. The salary range for this position si $85,000 to $110,000 + bonus. Benefits: Medical/Dental/Vision Basic Life and AD& D insurance STD/LTD 401k 2 weeks PTO 8 paid holidays Requirements • Proficiency in account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and bank reconciliations. • Strong knowledge of general ledger management and journal entry preparation. • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with ERP systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP. • Experience in month-end close processes and technical GAAP accounting. • Background in public accounting audits or financial reporting. • Solid understanding of U.S. accounting principles and standards. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
