You’ll act as an entrepreneur, treating your accounts like your own business while leveraging creativity, value proposition selling and customer management skills to sustain existing partnerships and proactively pursue new opportunities for growth. Key Responsibilities + Leverage deep knowledge of customers’ end‑to‑end processes to protect existing business and accelerate growth through compelling Taste & Nutrition, and Functional solution selling. + Build and maintain strong, positive customer relationships to deliver sustainable, ongoing sales performance. + Collaborate internally to communicate customer technical needs and opportunities, engaging cross‑functional Kerry and customer’s resources to develop effective solutions + Develop comprehensive account plans aligned with regional goals, defining clear objectives and strategies for each assigned customer. + Monitor customer‑specific product volume and sales trends to anticipate shifts, address declines proactively, and communicate performance insights that support both business protection and growth. + Stay informed on industry and consumer trends, attend events translating insights into impactful strategies and recommendations for customers. + Network within the industry and strengthen commercial relationships across customer organizations and trade associations to enhance Kerry’s visibility and partnership opportunities. Experience/Skills Required for the Role + Bachelor’s degree required; 7–10+ years of progressively responsible experience in sales, technical, or R&D roles within the food industry preferred. + Bilingual in French/English preferred, supporting a customer base across Quebec and Ontario. + Strong technical understanding of formulation, processing, and application technologies within the meat industry, enabling confident solution selling and meaningful customer partnership. + Proven success managing and growing customer accounts, defending existing business, and driving new revenue opportunities in complex, matrixed environments. + Demonstrated ability to understand customers’ end‑to‑end processes and translate insights into compelling strategies and value propositions. + Experience selling a range of food ingredient products and technologies with a focus on taste and wellness solutions. + Highly skilled at building influential relationships across customer functions including procurement, culinary, R&D, technical, and business teams as well as effectively collaborating within cross functional internal teams + Excellent communicator with strong verbal, written, and presentation skills and the ability to clearly articulate ideas and influence stakeholders at all levels internally and externally. + Effective collaborator with a strong track record of contributing to cross‑functional teams and leveraging internal resources to resolve technical challenges and deliver integrated solutions. + Experience with budgeting, account planning, pricing negotiations, and managing commercial performance. + Highly organized, analytical, and adept at managing multiple priorities, interpreting sales and volume data, and developing plans to protect and grow the business. + Knowledgeable about industry and consumer trends, competitive dynamics, and market developments, with the ability to translate insights into customer strategies while building strong commercial networks across the industry and trade associations. + Ability to travel approximately 50%.
