The role A Senior Account Manager is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with Softwareone customers to ensure the ultimate customer experience and that maximum value is received throughout customer lifetime. This role provides ongoing sales support to a limited number of existing customers, manages the customer relationship and customer satisfaction, while showing a solid understanding of Softwareone portfolio. The Senior Account Manager builds & implements the account strategy, executes strategic plans, helps identify new sales leads, and collaborates with other expert colleagues to develop sales plans and identify opportunities. To ensure success as a Senior Account Manager you should possess extensive sales experience in a related industry. A Senior Account Manager will be someone whose customer-oriented approach and sales expertise result in increased profitability and year over year growth within their assigned customer book. Ultimately, an outstanding Senior Account Manager will keep a close eye on clients' feedback to ensure that our products and services always exceed expectations. Role and Responsibilities Be the primary point of contact and build and maintain long-term relationships with customers Develop a trusted advisor relationship with customer stakeholders and executive sponsors Take ownership on the customer experience: Understand customer needs and business objectives and offer the right solutions to customers Ensure timely and successful delivery of our solutions Keep customers satisfied by delivering exceptional service on a day-to-day basis Drive proactive new Sales, Renewals, and overall Opportunity Management Manage day-to-day Customer and Partner Requests Develop, maintain and execute an account strategy with short-/ mid-/ and long-term goals on: Account growth Profitability Customer retention Customer satisfaction Lead, moderate and orchestrate all activities on accounts Enhance organization’s reputation by taking ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to our customers Track and forecast of defined account metrics, KPIs and financials What we need to see from you Bachelor’s degree in Commercial Economics, business management, marketing, or a related field preferred A minimum of five years' experience as a Strategic Account Manager, or similar. Proficiency in CRM software Native Dutch and Great English language skills Experience in B2B sales in a related industry. In-depth knowledge of client relationship management strategies. Superb interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills. Great problem-solving and analytical abilities. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Highly motivated and results oriented; entrepreneurial spirit.
