Sr Test & Development Engineer - REMOTE/Hybrid

Key Responsibilities

Support development and testing of new turbomachinery products Lead or assist with service repairs, field commissioning, and troubleshooting Provide engineering support for legacy products, including non-conformance evaluation and review of mechanical drawings for manufacturability and serviceability in accordance with ASME Y14 standards Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and quality teams across the product lifecycle
Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred), with 10+ years of experience in mechanical design and rotating equipment, ideally turbomachinery Strong proficiency in SolidWorks, including CAD data management tools, and working knowledge of GD&T, BOM structures, and engineering documentation standards Solid foundation in mechanical engineering principles (statics, dynamics, strength of materials, etc.), with strong communication skills and ability to work effectively across disciplines Experience supporting fielded products and working within ISO 9001 or AS9100 environments

Preferred Skills

Experience with CAE tools (FEA, CFD, rotordynamics), with a background in fatigue analysis, thermodynamics, and heat transfer Familiarity with wire harness design and system integration Understanding of ASME, API, and aerospace industry standards Experience with enterprise or manufacturing resource planning systems

 



Pay Details: $100,000.00 to $140,000.00 per year
