The Surveillance Logistics team is seeking a Senior Technician, Logistics to serve on the Pack/Ship team onsite in McKinney, TX. **What You Will Do** + Read, interpret, and execute written shipping instructions + Examine packed material labels for accuracy + Prepare shipping documents and label materials for shipping + Load trucks/moving material on the dock using material handling equipment such as powered industrial trucks, forklifts, and pallet jacks which will require the ability to lift up to 28 lbs. + Coordinate and monitor workflow, assisting in prioritizing activities in assigned areas to improve upon service level commitment + Schedule carrier pick-ups via the Transportation Management System (TMS) + Work in a high tempo, high stress customer service environment + Position will (occasionally) require working additional hours and Saturdays + Position will require ability to obtain 49CFR and IATA HAZMAT certifications + Position will require the ability to obtain a Powered Industrial Truck operating certification **Qualifications You Must Have** + HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience. + At least 1 year of warehouse, shipping-related work experience **Qualifications We Prefer** + Experience working with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) + General industry experience and understanding of protocol in a defense company, including work with Government Furnished Material + Working knowledge of SAP and Defense Transportation Regulations + Import/Export Compliance experience + Excellent verbal, written, organizational and time management skills + Possess a solid reputation for safety, professionalism, and ethical responsibility + Experience handling products safely and carefully + Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills **What We Offer** Our values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world.
