Sr Technical Program Manager, Global Fleet and Products Electrification and Infrastructure
Amazon is committed to building a sustainable business for our employees, customers and communities. From leading The Climate Pledge to our goal of Net Zero Carbon by 2040, Amazon has consistently driven industry change. Deploying a fleet of 100,000 electric delivery vehicles is one major way we’re making a difference.

The Technical Program Manager role will play a key part in supporting electrification across our network.

The Technical Program Manager will be responsible for owning our supplier quality workstream across our electrical infrastructure equipment portfolio. This will include building tools to intake issues across the equipment's lifecycle, resolve those failure modes, complete pareto exercises on the problems, and develop solutions across the installation phase and supplier base for improvement (including sparing strategies for the network). The TPM will develop this strategy, evaluate trade-offs and drive broad alignment with key stakeholders.

We seek a strong leader who can set priorities, communicate clearly, and consistently deliver results across diverse cross-functional teams.

Key job responsibilities
- Develop, implement and maintain the supplier quality roadmap for electrical infrastructure equipment.
- Verify Amazon quality standards are met at suppliers through in-person and remote audits.
- Monitor and report on supplier performance quality metrics and actions. Lead supplier quality issue resolution in partnership with engineering, construction and commissioning teams.
- Develop and support suppliers with quality improvement initiatives and Key Performance Indicators (KPI). Provide a feedback mechanism from suppliers to internal teams on joint quality issues. Work on concurrent projects, sometimes in multiple geographical regions.
- Develop network spare strategies to support electrical power distribution products powering 100K EVs.
- Evaluating and validating complex root cause analysis reports from a technical perspective using critical thinking and quality principles.
- Drive and own end-to-end problem-solving processes using 8D methodology/DMAIC, analytical tools, and cross-functional teams to identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and validate solutions for supplier quality issues.
- Manage the RMA lifecycle including analysis of returned products, trend identification, documentation, and coordination with suppliers to drive systematic improvements and reduce recurrence.
- Partner with suppliers to enhance their capabilities through technical support, improvement projects, and corrective action plans while ensuring alignment with organization's quality standards.
- Partner with Design Engineering org to build relevant construction bulletins.
