**Job Description Summary** **Job Description** **Role Purpose** Applies skill in the maintenance of production equipment to ensure ongoing optimum performance, in compliance in EHS and other applicable quality and regulatory guidelines. **Job Functions** + Perform both scheduled and unscheduled preventive maintenance routines on a + wider range of equipment to avoid program down time. + Check for failures in equipment and perform corrective actions to affected areas + that have down time, including conducting and writing impact assessment reports of incidents, exception work orders (WOs), Equipment Non-conformance Reports (NCRs), and Out of Tolerance (OOTs). + Review, follow and perform check list actions for all equipment in compliance with established work instructions and adherence with SOPs, including recording traceable information on device history records and enters information into appropriate system. + Apply knowledge of processes in the use of machines to ensure successful outcomes, as well as to devise process changes and to assess new equipment and establish preventive maintenance schedules. + May collaborate on troubleshooting and recommending maintenance to limit downtime and keep production on schedule. + On time arrival to work, regular attendance without excessive absenteeism, and working a full 8 hour or longer work period **Education/Experience** + Completed trade school program in electric, mechanical, electronics, PLC, Automation. + Able to read, comprehend and speak English + Good computer skills, including MS Office and Maximo + Substantial knowledge of routine preventive maintenance of production equipment including PLC and automatic access control systems Required Skills Optional Skills . **Primary Work Location** DOM Santo Domingo - Nave 15-Bachata **Additional Locations** **Work Shift** DO SH1 40H 7AM-3PM (Dominican Republic) Becton, Dickinson and Company is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
