**Job Description Summary** **Job Description** **Essential Job Functions** Perform both scheduled and unscheduled preventive maintenance routines on a wider range of equipment to avoid program down time. Check for failures in equipment and perform corrective actions to affected areas that have down time, including conducting and writing impact assessment reports of incidents, exception work orders (EWOs), Equipment Non-conformance Reports (NCRs), and Out of Tolerance (OOTs). Review, follow and perform check list actions for all equipment in compliance with established work instructions and adherence with SOPs, including recording traceable information on device history records and enters information into appropriate system. Apply knowledge of processes in the use of machines to ensure successful outcomes, as well as to devise process changes and to assess new equipment and establish preventive maintenance schedules. May collaborate on troubleshooting and recommending maintenance to limit downtime and keep production on schedule. **Education/Experience** + H.S. Diploma or equivalent + Completed trade school program in electric, mechanical, and/or electronics + 3 years of related experience; working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, lubrication, pneumatic, refrigeration, and/or autoclave **Required Skills** • Good communication skills • Able to read, comprehend and speak English • Good computer skills, including MS Office and Maximo. • Substantial knowledge of routine preventive maintenance of facilities equipment ( included but no limited to: air compressors, air handlers, Chillers, air conditioner units) . • In-house training on specialty equipment operations • Knowledge of PLC and electromechanical control systems. • Knowledge of and adherence to Environmental Health and Safety and Quality guidelines as they relate to department clean room medical device manufacturing • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing and Good Documentation Practices supporting a medical device environment • Must be able to work with minimum supervision, and with other departments • Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control Required Skills Communication, Good Documentation Practices, Maintenance Scheduling, Non-Conformance Reporting (NCR), Preventive Maintenance, Procedural Documentation, Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), Working Independently, Work Instructions Optional Skills Air Compressors, Autoclaves, Chillers, Clean Rooms, Electromechanical Engineering, Lubrication, Pneumatic, Refrigeration Systems . **Primary Work Location** DOM Santo Domingo - Nave 15-Bachata **Additional Locations** **Work Shift** DO Admin SH 45H 8AM-5PM (Dominican Republic) Becton, Dickinson and Company is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
