Sr Tax Manager
Job Title: Senior Tax Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a tax-focused CPA with a minimum of five years of public accounting experience. This role involves developing a comprehensive understanding of clients’ business and tax environments and providing proactive year-round tax planning. The position offers opportunities for staff supervision, advancement, and interaction with great clients within a team-oriented culture.

ResponsibilitiesPerform technical reviews of tax returns of varying types and complexities.Manage client relationships, including assessing client needs and developing strategies and solutions.Prepare complex business, fiduciary, and individual tax returns.Provide mentorship to other tax staff and assist in their growth, development, and training.Engage in business development activities.Essential SkillsMinimum of 5+ years of public accounting experience.Active CPA certification or recently expired.Experience with corporate tax preparation and planning.Proficiency in multi-state tax returns for high net-worth clientele.Experience with tax/audit software, preferably CHH ProSystem.Proficient with Microsoft Excel and other software applications.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience.Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $125000.00/yr.
