The scope of this position encompasses the requirements to ensure that procurement activity is consistently within the guidelines set forth in the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), applicable government/customer regulations, and Bell’s processes and procedures. This position serves as a subject matter expert on all Supply Chain audit and compliance matters or concerns including Small Business. Coordination with internal functional management, departments, staff, and external customers (both Government and applicable Customers) is a normal occurrence.
What you’ll be doing as a Sr Supply Chain Compliance Specialist
Identify weaknesses in recurring trends, recommend procedure or process changes to improve efficiency while ensuring compliant execution, and review and monitor metrics to report findings to the Compliance Manager and respective Supply Chain Managers.Support the Small Business Officer in achieving Bell’s small business goals by participating in Pre-RFP activities, communicating progress to upper management, enhancing program visibility, and assisting with initiatives like the Mentor Protegee Program (MPP) program, Indian Incentive Rebate Program, and FLRAA requirementsPrepare reports, presentations, and government compliance documents as well as represent Bell at events and trade shows and collaborate with cross-functional teams to increase small business participation and success.Develop and deliver training programs for Supply Chain employees to improve procurement package quality and compliance, including onboarding new employees through a "Training Academy," recurring Small Business training for all Bell sites, monthly compliance sessions, and process improvement initiatives as well as conduct targeted classroom trainings and share updates on improvement efforts.Help the Government Property group as needed as well as perform special projects and additional duties at the request of the Compliance Manager.

Skills You Bring To this Role:
Knowledge of Small Business regulations as well as SBLO certification preferred.
Microsoft Suite experience, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
Proven ability to develop and deliver training programs for large groups, including onboarding, monthly sessions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
In-depth experience in Excel (pivot tables, data analysis, etc.) is a plus.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, critical thinking skills, reading comprehension, multitasking ability, adaptability to change, attention to detail, problem-solving, and a high level of customer focus.
Must be comfortable communicating audit findings to peers and upper management.
Ability to work on cross-functional teams and experience in process improvement and streamlining workflows to enhance efficiency and compliance.
What you need to be successful:
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, accounting, finance or an MBA.
10 years of experience in supply chain, compliance, auditing, and/or other related field.
Training and process improvement is preferred.
Professional work experience in auditing or compliance positions is highly preferred.
Knowledge of FAR/DFAR is preferred.
