Job Description:
**Job Overview**
Responsible for ensuring that all incoming materials, components, and special‑process outputs meet aerospace regulatory, customer, and internal quality requirements. This role leads supplier quality oversight at the point of receipt, drives compliance with AS9100 and related aerospace standards, and supports robust root‑cause analysis and continuous improvement within the supply base.
**Job Requirements**
**Responsibilities:**
-Lead inspection and verification of incoming materials in compliance with AS9100 requirements, including risk management, traceability, and documentation control.
-Review and approve supplier documentation including Certificates of Conformance (CoC), First Article Inspection Reports (AS9102), and special‑process certificates.
-Perform supplier performance monitoring aligned with AS9100 supply chain management.
-Manage supplier nonconformances, lead root‑cause analysis, and drive structured corrective actions.
-Act as the functional leader of the Incoming Inspection (IGQC) area, with direct responsibility for the performance of the inspection team, as well as ensuring their competency, training, and certification.
-Develop and optimize receiving inspection processes, sampling plans, and acceptance criteria to support risk reduction and defect prevention.
-Manage incoming‑material MRBs, working closely with suppliers and internal teams.
-Provide technical leadership in continuous improvement initiatives affecting suppliers and internal receiving inspection.
-Escalate chronic IGQC issues to audits, source containment, or supplier development.
-Maintain communication with the centralized Supplier Quality organization to standardize, control, and improve supplier performance across the network.
-Support operational needs, including urgent containment, expedited inspections, and special requests required to maintain production flow.
-Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
-In addition to those required by the department's needs and / or assigned by the Supervisor.
**What your background should look like**
**Job Requirements:**
-5 to 7 years of experience in similar roles
-Advanced English
-Lean Manufacturing (desirable)
-Experience with Drawing Interpretation, metrology, AQL sampling, quality tools
-AS9100 certified auditor
-Experience in the aerospace, medical, or automotive industries
