As a **Senior Strategic Sourcing Specialist** here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in developing and executing sourcing strategies to drive cost savings, improve supplier performance, and ensure supply chain continuity. You will report directly to our **Director of Strategic Sourcing** , and you’ll work out of our **Prague, Czech Republic** location on a **Hybrid** work schedule. In this role, you will impact the company by driving cost savings through strategic sourcing initiatives, optimizing supplier relationships, and implementing best practices in procurement and supply chain management. You’ll be responsible for machining and fasteners portfolio of about 60 plus suppliers with approximate yearly turnover over 43mil USD. This role is open in Prague or Olomouc. This role includes traveling for about 30% of time. **Key responsibilities:** + Define Supplier Segmentation and Growth, Maintain and Exit suppliers for the region and coordinate actions with Global Strategy Integration team to execute this strategy year over year. + Rationalize supplier portfolio and identify risk areas: subsequently adapt strategy within its commodity an define dual sourcing and transition required. Select Honeywell's future suppliers across the globe to support our future development: outsourcing or offset. Maintain and select or evolve new and old suppliers, negotiate terms and conditions with selected portfolio. + Implement contracts with all suppliers to drive productivity and meet yearly AOP (Annual Operating plan). + Implement Multi years plans (STRAP) through contract penetration to increase year over year productivity. + Reach yearly productivity target established through various actions: transition / negotiation / Value Engineering. + Create opportunities within the portfolio of suppliers to achieve productivity targets and also implement / develop new technology through strategic agreement where applicable. + Creating a pipeline of new Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) opportunities in combination of extending the payment terms to increase companies’ cash flow. + Creates vision and strategy to achieve innovations and technological advances that improve quality, reduce flow-time, improve productivity, and enhance operational surety. + Assures adequate support services are provided by other organizations such as Honeywell production sites located across the Globe, with primary units in Olomouc, Yeovil and Raunheim. **Key Experience & Capabilities:** + 5+ years in indirect or direct sourcing, tangible working experience with direct commodities such as sheet and metal, casting, forgings, machining, assemblies, raw materials, bearings, electronics and more. + Working experience with negotiating terms and conditions, contracts and pricing agreements. + EU or UK citizen or equivalent working permit + Degree in Business, economics, engineering or equivalent working experiences + C1 English fluent level (commercial, technical is a plus) + Some experience in managing your own projects + Skilled in Microsoft applications especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint. + Valid driver's license **We Value:** + Corporate background, ideally in Aerospace sector + SAP knowledge is an advantage. + Passion for continuous learning and development. **We Offer:** + Enjoy 25 vacation days per year + Recognition & referral bonus programs + Comprehensive induction, ongoing training and development to set you up for success, in-house and external learning platforms supporting development opportunities + Employee Assistance Program - Free and confidential service to help with any difficulties regarding work, life and personal or family matters + Frequent Employee Engagement activities fostering an inclusive and diverse work environment + Multisport Card, Makro Card, discount Vodafone and T-Mobile tariffs and multiple discount programs in our partner network We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
