Roles and responsibilities:

Architect and design end-to-end infrastructure solutions that align with business goals, ensuring scalability, security, and performance for enterprise products.Collaborate closely with product development teams in an agile/scrum environment to deliver infrastructure that supports rapid development and deployment cycles.Lead production deployment strategies, including continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, ensuring reliability and high availability of services.Provide oversight and guidance for production support activities, incident management, and root cause analysis to maintain system health and uptime.Supervise and mentor a multidisciplinary team of data insight professionals responsible for application development, data engineering, visualization, and analytics initiatives.Partner with financial stakeholders to understand budgetary constraints and optimize infrastructure investments for cost-effectiveness and ROI.Evaluate emerging technologies and trends to recommend improvements and innovations in infrastructure architecture.Develop and enforce standards, best practices, and governance policies related to infrastructure design, security, and compliance.Drive cross-functional collaboration between IT, development, operations, and business teams to ensure alignment and seamless delivery of solutions.

Minimum Experience required:

Minimum of 7-10-year experience in production supportMinimum of 3 years’ experience as ArchitectMust have experience with technical and People management responsibilities.Extensive experience in on-prem to cloud migrationFlexible to work in shift model.Strong Azure, Gen AI,  DB skills and experience in production support /implementationDesired to have good exposure of Cloud Migration projects.

Skills Set:

Experience with cloud-based database solutions such Snowflake, Azure SQL DatabaseAbility to monitor and optimize database performance, including query optimization and resource allocation. Knowledge of disaster recovery planning and high availability solutions like replication, clustering, and failover.Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash) to automate routine tasks.Knowledge of APIs and middleware for connecting databases to applications.Experience with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, MS Project) to track progress and meet deadlines.Understanding of agile or waterfall methodologies for database-related projectsStrong verbal and written communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Ability to prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for executivesWorking with cross-functional teams, including developers, network engineers, and business analysts
