Sr Specialist Software Engineering - Palantir Foundry
**Job Description:** **Overall Description** We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sr Specialist Software Engineer to join our dynamic team to design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain high-quality software solutions within the Palantir ecosystem. You’ll ensure efficient delivery processes and production support with a strong emphasis on automation, scalability, and adherence to industry best practices. **Key Roles and Responsibilities:** **Design, Development, and Coding** + Architect and implement data pipelines and applications using Palantir Foundry, WorkSpace, and other relevant technologies. + Apply programming languages (e.g., Python, TypeScript, SQL, Spark) to build scalable and maintainable solutions. + Ensure all software components are designed and coded to meet performance and security standards. + Design domain-specific functions and implement high-quality, secure code. **Collaboration and Communication** + Partner with cross-functional teams to gather and review software requirements. + Provide accurate estimates and design specifications. + Collaborate with engineers and architects to assess software interactions and integration points. **Testing and Debugging** + Develop automated test plans and validate test environments, data, and results. + Implement code fixes and enhancements based on test outcomes. + Generate reports and documentation to support testing and debugging efforts. **Maintenance and Support** + Troubleshoot and resolve application configuration and environment issues. + Monitor system performance and proactively address potential bottlenecks. **Deployment** + Facilitate and support the deployment of software solutions into production environments. **Job Contribution** This role requires an experienced professional with deep technical knowledge and the ability to apply organizational practices to resolve moderately complex problems.
