**Job Duties** : Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure that software products meet customer requirements and specifications. Gather requirements from teams and turn those requirements into
testable metrics for the broader project and define the automated test cases that evaluate the systems underlying ability to perform under business-related simulated loads. Recommend
additional Performance Testing tools that can test other areas. Develop test processes, plans, and test cases for complex custom software, systems, and applications. Analyze existing test scenarios to ensure accuracy, relevance, and necessity. Conduct testing to identify defects and works closely with development teams to resolve issues. Ensure defects are well written and have all the information that drives them to resolution. Create test-product documentation and participate in testing-related walkthroughs. Design and implement automated testing
processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Prepare all reports related to software testing carried out. Interact with the clients to better understand the product requirements. Stay up to date with industry trends and technologies related to software testing and quality. Support continuous process improvement initiatives. Position allows for 100% remote work. Reports to company HQs in Westlake, TX. Subject to Schwab’s internal approach to workplace flexibility.
**What you have**
**Job Requirements** : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field and 60 months of progressive, post-Bachelor's experience.. Experience must include 60 months of experience in each of the following:
SDET for projects related to cloud, distributed systems, REST Services, Web Services/Microservices, and data processes; Web service automation using tools like RestAssured, RestSharp, SoapUI, or Parasoft SOAtest; Oracle, SQL, MongoDB, and Aerospike; Real-time event-based processing and messaging using IBM MQ, RabbitMQ, and Kafka;Splunk, Kibana, AppDynamics, and Dynatrace; Writing test automation in C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python; DLCs, including Agile methodology; and Agile development methodologies. .
We offer competitive pay and benefits. Starting compensation depends on related experience. Annual bonus and other eligible earnings are not included in the ranges above.
