Job Description:
The position is to provide AT&T a senior tester to support testing of platform’s verification, integration and maintenance for a team that collaborates with client project teams in the development of new software features that provide significant new functionality, provide new frameworks for creation of new services, and delivers new services.
Roles and Duties include:
Development/ Modification/ Management tools to automate manual tests.Experience performance testing noSQL Databases such as CassandraIn-depth understanding of testing REST APIBasic knowledge of TCP/IP Networking and tools to troubleshoot connectivityUnderstanding of UNIX operating systemsBasic understanding of using Git and GitHubExperience using Jenkins for building, deploying and automating job creationSupport TECHDEV activities alarming testing and troubleshoot applicationsParticipation, when necessary, in the Agile development activities, Agile Project Management and SCRUM best practicesTest strategy design, test plan and test cases preparation and executionEstablishment of great positive relationships with customers, development team, management team and vendorsHost/participate triage and defect status calls and meetingsDefect management and in-depth bug analysisTroubleshooting various blocking issues and approaching non-standard solutionsAdvocating and leading test automation efforts to maximize the quality coverageExecuting functional, system-integration, stress-load-performance (SLP), boundary, user interface (UI), regression and ad-hoc testingProduction release and operations supportTest Plan designTest coverage design – test cases: high level, steps, details page.Ability to understand API documentation and create test cases from itManagement and control of Systems Integration Testing (SIT)Lead/participate in Customer Acceptance Testing (CAT)Lead/participate in First Field Analysis (FFA) supportManagement of Dev testing, Defect Management, and Daily TriageReport timely test results, including issues, dependencies and a final test report.On-going monthly test maintenance, including testing of upgrades, patches, and production supportDeveloper Support for Onboarding activitiesBasic understanding of web server applications with database back end infrastructureBasic understanding of Cloud based technologiesKey skills needed:
5+ years of experience with web service application troubleshooting (REST APIs)5+ years of experience writing test cases and test plans3+ years of experience testing cloud hosted applications2+ years of experience in Linux scripting preferably with Bash, Perl, AWK, Python, and Ruby2+ years of experience with GitHub and JENKINSExperience with technical writingExperience with Mobility networks is a plusExperience with Kubernetes, Docker is a plusSelf-driven, teamwork oriented, multitasking, and good communication skillsLocation:
