Join Ingredion and help us ensure payroll accuracy, compliance, and operational excellence. As a key member of our payroll team, you will play a critical role in maintaining audit readiness and supporting internal and external reporting requirements.

As a Sr Specialist, Payroll, you will be responsible for managing payroll records, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and supporting audits and reporting activities. You will serve as the primary contact for payroll audits and compensation-related inquiries, collaborating with internal teams and external entities to ensure timely and accurate payroll operations.

This role reports to the Payroll Manager and does not have direct reports.

What will you do: 

Maintain accurate payroll operational and audit records and prepare reports for management, accounting, auditing, and compliance purposes.Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations, and company policies.Serve as the primary contact for payroll audits and compensation accounting and tax-related inquiries.Manage escheatment process and garnishments for Payroll Operations.Perform complex calculations and reconciliations, including root cause analysis.Support quarterly and year-end payroll activities such as W-2, T4, and other tax-related forms preparation and distribution.Provide insights and recommendations to improve and automate reports or controls ensuring effective and efficient compliance.

What you will bring: 

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in accounting, human resources, finance, or a business-related field.5–7 years of experience in payroll processing, preferably in a US environment.Strong ADP GlobalView and SmartCompliance experience.3+ years of experience in Payroll Audits and Payroll Accounting.Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) accreditation or willingness to obtain.
