Requirements
US Citizen or permanent resident (green card holder).
7+ years professional C# experience delivering production software for products (not websites); or relevant advanced degree with 3+ years.
Modern .NET (6/8) with WPF/MVVM and/or WinForms.
Async/await, dependency injection, EF Core, gRPC/REST API development.
Unit testing with xUnit or NUnit.
Source control workflows: branching strategies, pull requests, merge processes.
On-site, 1st-shift in Wilsonville, Oregon.
Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (or higher) or equivalent experience.
Preferred Skills
Test equipment/automation development for manufacturing or laboratories.
LabVIEW RT/FPGA, TestStand, Vision, DIAdem, SystemLink.
Aerospace test systems exposure.
Database design for data acquisition pipelines and manufacturing results storage.
gRPC service design, protobuf schema versioning, and API backward compatibility.
Windows desktop deployment and installer packaging (MSIX/WiX), driver/USB/serial integration.
Performance profiling, memory/GC tuning, and multithreading for instrument control.
Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain C#/.NET applications that control instruments, acquire data, and deliver results to manufacturing lines.
Build WPF/MVVM UIs and headless services; implement gRPC/REST endpoints and data layers with EF Core.
Develop automated tests and test harnesses; maintain CI-friendly unit and integration test suites.
Create robust device-control abstractions for motion, I/O, sensors, vision, and DAQ hardware.
Produce setup documentation, architecture diagrams, and deployment artifacts for repeatable releases.
Perform Agile iteration work (backlog refinement, estimation, sprint execution) and support program and proposal efforts.
Optimize reliability, determinism, and throughput of automation workflows; diagnose field issues and deliver corrective updates.
Pay Details: $58.00 to $78.00 per hour
