Join Spectrum as a Senior Software Engineer to lead the development and integration of billing and mediation systems within a large-scale service provider platform. This role offers the chance to expand a dynamic team, tackling the challenges of scaling API traffic and a growing customer base. You will focus on developing features for the Bryte IQ platform, leveraging your expertise in software development, testing, integration, and API design to enhance platform capabilities for third-party developers.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Design and implement integration tests to validate platform functionality, proactively identifying and resolving issues before they reach production.Design integration solutions between billing platforms and mediation layersAssist external partners in integrating the Bryte IQ APIs to build their applications, providing technical guidance and troubleshooting their issues.Actively participate and lead team discussions, offering insights and feedback to drive continuous improvement in development processes.Help define and refine tasks for the sprint, ensuring alignment with project goals and team priorities.Design and develop REST APIs to be used by the third-party developersDesign and implement robust, scalable APIsArchitect system components for high-performance requiring excellent system design skills with experience architecting scalable, distributed systemsLead technical decisions around API versioning, backwards compatibility, and evolution strategiesCollaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into well-designed API contractsEstablish and maintain API design patterns and best practices across the platformWHAT YOU’LL BRING TO SPECTRUM
Required Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, related field or equivalent combination of education and experienceExperience

The base pay for this position generally is between $88,200.00 and $156,600.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
