As Senior Security Engineer, your responsibility is to ensure the data, devices, and systems are secure, resilient, and compliant. Your teammates are a global team of security engineers, software developers, and technical program managers dedicated to continuously raising the security bar.

Key job responsibilities
- Raise the security bar during secure design, architecture, and code reviews with your development customers.
- Become an expert consultant, advocate, and business-enabler for software development customers and stakeholders, educating on secure practices and collaborating on solutions.
- Create opportunities to improve developer velocity and program efficiency while maintaining our high security and privacy standards.
- Build solutions that automate Application Security functions; and processes improve the team's Application Security Operations.
- Collaborate with partners across Amazon to develop scalable solutions to security problems
- Act as a technical leader, educator, and mentor for less experienced Security Engineers.
- Period on-call responsibilities, and occasional travel as required.
