Short Description The Senior Research Policy Specialist supports policy and standard operating procedure (SOP) priorities, including development, implementation, and training in conjunction with all aspects of research operations and regulations.The Senior Policy Specialist will coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to gather input and build consensus around policy and SOP initiatives by identifying areas for improvement.The Specialist will work with operational and integrity teams within the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs to maintain regulatory readiness and promote research integrity and excellence through education and quality assurance activities.The core function of this role is to ensure consistent and transparent research practices across the institution and promote measures for compliance, integrity, and quality research.

Experience Required

3-5 years required. 

Education Requirements

Master's degree required. 

License/Certification Requirements

Certification in clinical research or compliance preferred at the time of hire (e.g., ACRP-CP, CIP, CCEP) or completed within one year required. 

Special Requirements

May require occasional travel between Cooper locations.
