We are looking for a hands-on Senior React Engineer specializing in TypeScript to contribute to the design, development, and optimization of a mobile application developed with Electron. This role requires a strong focus on communication, teamwork, encouragement, and collaboration.

Qualifications:

7+ years of experience as a software engineer, with a focus on front-end development in ReactExperience working with both Typescript and JavaScriptStrong experience in UI development.Strong communication skills with a positive attitude. Not afraid to ask questions and seek help. Proven ability to work effectively in collaborative and team-oriented environmentsExpertise ensuring code quality with code reviews, pair programming, and meaningful test casesExperience with automation frameworks, especially PlaywrightExperience with state management using ReduxProficiency in design patterns and best coding practicesExpertise with Git for version control and collaboration, including a thorough understanding of branching strategies, merge conflict resolution, and merge vs rebaseExperience with CI/CD configuration, especially Jenkins and GitHub Actions

Mobile UI experienceHands-on experience with NodeJSExperience working on Linux

Responsibilities:

*If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above.  For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity.  At Starbucks, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
