Responsibilities:
Ensure engineering designs meet applicable quality requirements
Plan and perform internal quality audits and follow up on action items
Lead quality initiatives to reduce scrap and rework through cross-functional teams
Conduct quality investigations and support MRB and RMA processes
Manage customer relations by working closely with Sales, Engineering, and Manufacturing to address expectations and satisfaction
Drive key quality performance metrics including DPPM, OTD, Cost of Quality, Customer Scorecards, Internal Audit Risk and Effectiveness, Supplier Performance, and Contract Review
Perform First Article inspections and ensure compliance with aerospace quality requirements and specifications
Review and interpret engineering drawings, contracts, purchase orders, and applicable processing standards
Apply statistical methods, SPC, and advanced data analysis techniques for quality improvement
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
Experience working in the aerospace industry in quality, engineering, or manufacturing roles
Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100D Quality Management System processes
Proficiency with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Computer literacy with Excel, Minitab, CAD, and Visio
Experience with root cause analysis, corrective actions, SPC, and statistical analysis
Familiarity with 8D problem solving techniques
Ability to comply with ITAR export license requirements
Preferred Skills:
Six Sigma certification or equivalent training
Proven record of partnering with manufacturing and engineering to drive quality improvements
Experience with formal quality and operations systems
Pay: 65-70

Pay Details: $65.00 to $70.00 per hour
