**Job Title: Senior QA Engineer** **Location:** Remote (U.S. based, team operates on Mountain Time) **Start Date:** July 1, 2025 **Duration:** 3-month contract with potential for extension **Hours:** Full-time, 40 hours/week **Overview:** Our client is seeking a **Senior QA Engineer** to support a high-impact portal rewrite initiative. You'll work alongside developers and QA leads to test web applications and backend integrations, with a mix of manual testing and hands-on automation. We’re looking for someone who can hit the ground running and help scale our automation capabilities - no mentorship or training responsibilities, just execution. **Responsibilities:** + Perform manual testing of user stories and backend integrations + Design, build, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and Gauge or UI Path + Collaborate with QA leads and developers to ensure test coverage across features + Provide feedback on product quality, performance, and usability + Contribute to an automation-first culture without sacrificing manual coverage where needed **Required Skills:** + 5+ years of QA experience with strong manual and automation testing skills + Proficiency with Selenium and related frameworks (Gauge or UI Path preferred) + Prior development experience in **Java** or **.NET** for test automation + Familiarity with backend systems and web application testing + Strong collaboration and communication skills **Nice to Have:** + Experience with New Relic or similar monitoring tools + Background in the education technology domain **Additional Info:** + U.S.-based candidates only + Fully remote, but team syncs on Mountain Time hours + Contract role with potential to extend based on performance and business needs If this is a role that interests you and you'd like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
