Senior Public Relations Strategist
Bring your skills and experience as a results-driven Sr Public Relations (PR) Strategist to lead and execute strategic communications and PR initiatives in support of Bell’s Commercial Business. This role is focused on Bell’s Commercial Business efforts in North and Latin America and supporting the Commercial Programs teams. As a key partner to the Commercial sales teams and Commercial Programs teams, the role will maintain a strong network of media partners and have responsibilities for content development, media relations training, brand positioning, partner communications and liaison, speechwriting, leading and executing media events and supporting Bell’s global spokesperson bureau with presentations, messaging and materials.
This role is based in Bell’s Fort Worth, TX headquarters with an office at Bell’s Commercial Business Center and reports directly to the Sr. Manager, Global Public Relations. There are no direct reports to this role.
What you’ll be doing as a Sr PR Strategist
Build and maintain strong relationships with trade, local, national and industry media as well as secure earned media placements across relevant outlets.Develop and execute PR strategies aligned with business goals, including product launches/announcements, partnerships and executive positioning.Support C-suite and commercial leaders with speaking engagements, authored content, interviews and key messaging.Write, develop and manage approvals for press releases, media advisories, newsroom features, pitches, blog posts, case studies, bylines, executive bios and related media materials.Serve as a key partner in managing issues and reputational risks as well as partner closely with employee communications, government affairs, marketing, sales, HR, legal and other partners to develop stories, align messaging and integrating campaigns.Track PR performance metrics, analyze results, and provide strategic recommendations to enhance impact as well as exert influence on the overall business objectives and long-term goals of the Communications functionCoordinates all public relations activities for North America and Latin America business initiatives worldwide, and works well under pressure, establishes realistic schedules, provides support to regional Sales and Programs teams and meets deadlines while managing competing priorities.Builds and maintains strong relationships with business partners, and mentors other Communications professionals to ensure best practices across the function to establish and maintain procedures and processes to ensure that communications activities are carried out on time and in a consistent and efficient manner, in accordance with company commitments and corporate standards.We’re more than aviation experts, we’re pioneers. Exceptional writing, editing and verbal communications skills.Demonstrated success in securing media coverage and managing brand reputation.Experience working with senior executives and managing external agencies.Strategic thinker with excellent project management and multitasking abilities.Understanding of industry practices and standards in communications.What you need to be successful:
5 years of experience in a communications role is required (preferably in public relations, internal/employee communications, or marketing communications).Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or other related field.Master’s degree is preferred.Ability to accommodate working hours of operations in other time zones.Ability to travel up to 15% as needed.What we offer you in return:
