Sr Project Manager - Hybrid Work Schedule

GDIT is seeking a Senior Project Manager to provide management and support of the team focused on enabling the integration of video services into the Department of Defense (DoD) as part of the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Global Video Services (GVS) business area. Selected candidate will provide a combination of remote (20%) and onsite (80%) support in Fort Meade, Maryland, or Chantilly, VA.
MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT
The Senior Project Manager will play a crucial role in driving the success of multiple concurrent efforts, including the sustainment of a legacy solution, the stand down of that solution, and the rollout of a new solution. This role involves direct collaboration with customers, team members, and vendors to ensure the customer's vision is realized.The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for all aspects of project development and implementation from original inception to final completion.The Senior Project Manager will serve as a single point of contact for all project-related matters, interfacing with developers, administrators, engineers, and customers to gather requirements and establish project scope and objectives.Prepare detailed schedules, project estimates, and status reports, while allocating resources to ensure successful project completion.Coordinate and conduct meetings, ensuring that tasking and action items are tracked and executed.Review deliverables to ensure adherence to quality standards and develop or contribute to program briefs for delivery to all levels of leadership.Managing the integration of vendor tasks, evaluating vendor deliverables, and providing recommendations to resolve any management-related issues. Translating customer requirements into formal agreements and plans that culminate in customer acceptance or results, executing a wide range of process activities from initial requests through development, testing, and final delivery.Anticipate future customer, industry, and business trends, applying this understanding to meet project objectives, and will challenge existing procedures and processes to seek opportunities for enhancement or improvement.Analyze new and complex project-related problems, creating innovative solutions involving finance, scheduling, technology, methodology, tools, and solution components.Using a significant breadth of knowledge in business matters, finance, planning, and forecasting, the Senior Project Manager will work closely with the DISA Portfolio’s Leadership Team to ensure team effectiveness and efficiency.WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED (Required)Education: Bachelor’s Degree.Security Clearance: Active Secret.
Required Experience: 5+ years of related experience.
Required Technical Skills:Proven risk management capabilities.Experience in developing comprehensive project documentation and status reports.Ability to thrive in a highly collaborative, fast-paced, growth-focused environmentAbility to motivate teams to perform exceptionally over long stretches of time and in challenging situations.Comfort with public speaking and giving presentations.
