The Sr. Project Manager will lead a staff responsible for Data Center projects throughout a specific region in the United States. **The role offers a hybrid schedule with an onsite presence in Charlotte NC or Richmond VA. Travel is required.** The Senior Project Manager provides consulting services to our financial services client account to help achieve the company's strategic business objectives. This role will specifically support Data Centers This specific role will be supporting a large financial client with existing facility renovations. Typical work hours: 8-5; M-F **What you’ll do** + Runs all facets of project management (budget, schedule, procurement, quality & risk) for individual real estate projects including planning, design, construction, occupancy and closeout. + Demonstrates capability to read, understand and apply knowledge to any documents affecting construction projects, including but not limited to: agreements/contracts, leases, work letters, project charters, surveys and drawings. + Interfaces directly with client to leads client MOP (Method of Procedure) process for scheduling any / all data center construction related activity. Work with contractors to submit MOP documentation which must be approved by the facility management and client team prior to any work taking place. MOPs typically include detail on 1) Work Scope, 2) Procedural review to identify work areas, personnel involved with work, equipment detail, and scope to be performed, 3) Operational impact to Client IT systems and Critical Facility, 4) Risk Identification, mitigation plan, and safety considerations. The MOPs approval process is a critical piece of the project management process and is crucial to ensure safety of personnel in the facility and to minimize risk to the client’s business operations. + Ensures standard methodologies are followed for design and delivery of critical facility system components and equipment. Participate in review of project submittals, proposals, process, and design submittals to ensure compliance with project / owner scope requirements. + Identifies project delivery resources from pre-qualified lists or through individual project qualification process; conducts request for proposals; completes bid analysis; leads evaluation interviews, recommends resources to clients. + Implements communication plan for meetings and written reports/meeting minutes to keep client and project resources advised. Facilitates project meetings. **What you’ll need** + Bachelor's degree (BA/BS/BEng/BArch) from College or University in a technical area of study. 5 to 7 years of related project management experience required. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. LEED AP, PMP, and/or CCM designation(s) preferred. + Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to read and understand architectural drawings.
