This is a hybrid position requiring candidates to reside in Southern Los Angeles or Orange County. Regular client visits are part of the role, so only applicants from these areas will be considered.

Senior Client Representative / Project Manager – Real Estate Project Management

Position Summary

The Senior Client Representative / Project Manager is responsible for leading large-scale and complex real estate projects from concept through completion. This role serves as the primary liaison between the client and project teams, ensuring successful delivery of projects on time, within budget, and aligned with client objectives. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in project management, financial oversight, and stakeholder coordination within the real estate and construction sectors.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership: Manage all phases of real estate projects, including planning, design, construction, and closeout.Client Representation: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and expectations.Team Coordination: Lead cross-functional project teams, including internal stakeholders, architects, engineers, vendors, and contractors.Schedule Management: Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules using industry-standard tools.Meeting Facilitation: Lead Owner-Architect-Contractor (AOC) and internal meetings, ensuring accurate documentation through detailed meeting minutes.Budget Development: Prepare Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) estimates based on limited conceptual information.Financial Oversight: Manage project budgets with proficiency in Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), cost control, and forecasting.Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks proactively.Compliance: Ensure adherence to local building codes, permitting processes, and sustainability standards.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 10 years of progressive project management experience in real estate development, construction, or capital projects.Proven track record managing large and/or complex capital initiatives from concept through completion.Strong proficiency in:Project scheduling tools (MS Project, Primavera, Procore)Budget development and financial managementContract administration (AIA, GMP, Design-Build)Exceptional communication and presentation skills for executive-level reporting.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience managing projects with budgets exceeding $10M–$50M.Knowledge of LEED, WELL, or other sustainability certifications.Familiarity with entitlement processes and regulatory compliance.Ability to handle scope changes and maintain project alignment.Strong analytical skills for data-driven decision-making.Leadership and mentorship experience with junior project managers.


 

The compensation range $135K to $150K.
