Sr Project Manager
Job Title: Senior Project Manager – IT & Product DevelopmentOverview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex software and product development initiatives. This role is critical in shaping project success through strategic planning, risk management, stakeholder engagement, and process optimization. The ideal candidate will bring advanced project management expertise, a strong background in IT and product development, and experience in regulated environments such as the life sciences industry.

Essential Functions

Project Planning & Execution

Assist in the creation and validation of project scope, plans, and schedules for complex initiatives.Define and track success metrics to ensure project goals are met.Select and apply appropriate standards, including delivery processes, roles and responsibilities, operational norms, and compliance requirements.

Risk Management

Identify risks that could impact program success and recommend mitigation strategies to leadership.

Project Delivery

Manage the delivery process, scope, and budget of complex product development projects with minimal supervision.Drive project completion and mentor junior team members to build project management capabilities.

Stakeholder Engagement

Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Ensure alignment and support for project outcomes across departments.Demonstrate strong client-facing capabilities to manage expectations and foster trust.

Change Management

Lead change initiatives by assessing project impacts, building organizational awareness, and supporting training and transition efforts.

Continuous Improvement

Evaluate project outcomes against defined success metrics.Reengineer processes and resources to enhance productivity and improve final deliverables.Qualifications

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience) – Required

Experience

Minimum of 8 years in software and/or product development – RequiredAt least 2 years of experience in IT project management – RequiredAdvanced project management education and hands-on experience – RequiredExperience in the Life Sciences industry – PreferredFamiliarity with eQMS (Electronic Quality Management Systems) – PreferredUnderstanding of GxP (Good Practice) compliance standards – PreferredProven client-facing capabilities – DesiredPreferred SkillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Excellent communication and leadership skills.Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).Experience working in cross-functional teams and matrixed environments.Ability to navigate regulated environments and ensure compliance with industry standards.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $98,500.00 - $274,400.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
