Lennar Technology Group is seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have at least 9+ years of experience in IT project management, with a strong background in Agile methodologies, particularly SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework). A PMP certification is preferred, along with extensive experience in as Scrum Master. Proven experience working within Kanban and Waterfall methodologies is required, and experience in Agile Transformation initiatives is highly desirable.

Your Responsibilities on the Team 

Project Planning and Execution:

Develop comprehensive project plans, sprint plans, timelines, and budgets in collaboration with stakeholders.

Facilitate core Agile ceremonies: Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Reviews and Retrospectives

Identify and mitigate project or sprint plan risks, escalating issues as necessary to ensure timely resolution.

Support PI Planning and cross-team coordination to align dependencies and milestones.

SAFe Leadership:

Act as a servant leader and coach to promote Agile principles, and SAFe framework practices.

Drive continuous improvement within the Scrum Team(s), fostering a culture of collaboration, transparency, and accountability.

Methodology Expertise:

Utilize Agile, tailoring approaches to specific feature requirements.

Coach and mentor scrum teams on Agile best practices, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality products and services.

Stakeholder Management:

Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, providing regular project and sprint updates, status reports, and performance metrics.

Partner with Product Owners to maintain a healthy, prioritized backlog and ensure clarity of requirements.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align project and sprint objectives with business goals and priorities.

Agile Transformation:

Contribute to Agile Transformation initiatives, driving organizational change and adoption and execution of Agile principles and practices.

Promote transparency through metrics (velocity, burndown charts, team health checks) and use data to drive decisions.

Lead by example, demonstrating Agile values such as collaboration, adaptability, and customer focus.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, Information Technology, or related field.

7-10+ years of experience in IT project management, with a focus on software development and delivery.

PMP certification and/or Scrum Master certification preferred.

Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, leading Agile scrum teams in transformation projects.

Proven experience with Kanban and Waterfall methodologies.

Experience working with tools such as Jira, Slack, Confluence and TargetProcess.

Strong understanding of Agile principles and frameworks, with experience in Agile Transformation efforts.

Excellent communication, leadership, problem solving and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.
