The Senior Product Manager, Pricing & Promotions will be part of our Merchandising Technology Portfolio and is accountable for setting the strategy, development, and performance of associate & guest facing experiences across a portfolio of complex, high-impact products. The Senior Product Manager will be responsible for operating with a long-term enterprise view, shaping long-term product vision, and aligning cross-functional stakeholders across the business. This role must operate with a strategic mindset, balancing the associate & guest experience with outcomes, and serve as a thought leader in scaling and evolving our pricing & promotions capabilities & operations in a rapidly changing environment.
YOU WILL ACCOMPLISH THIS BY:
Lead a multi capability suite of products enabling pricing & promotions across our omnichannel ecosystem Partner cross-functionally on initiatives with significant business impact on revenue & operational efficiencyOwn and lead the end-to-end product strategy, roadmap & prioritization aligned with company goalsBuild and maintain the product roadmap, benefit analysis, feature/function definition, experience design, and objectives & key results for assigned area of responsibility Make enterprise-level prioritization and investment decisions to maximize the benefit & return to our associates & guests and company based on alignment Ulta Beauty’s strategic priorities Collaborate with senior leaders and executive stakeholders across Merchandising, Merchandise Planning & Inventory, Technology, Store Operations and Digital to build a shared digital product strategy across the enterprise by building a product roadmap aligned with the enterprise go-to-market strategyDrive discovery, innovation, and scalability across product areas, often in ambiguous or rapidly evolving domains, through delivery, measurement and iterationDeliver the product roadmap within time, budget, & quality requirements, while leading post-launch optimization (analytics, feedback, & opportunities) for ongoing prioritizationManage vendor partners/platforms to solve business problems and collaborate to drive for new innovations in products and services that best meet business needs & strategyADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Partner with senior leaders to build best practices in lean product management & agile ways of working within the Enterprise Systems organizationEducates and evangelizes product management best practices and agile methodologies throughout organization to build awareness for impact to business and ensure alignment for cross-team initiativesServe as a change leader and trusted strategic advisor, helping to define and shape the future of associate & guest experiences through technologyESSENTIALS FOR SUCCESS:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field Eight (8+) years relevant work experience with at least five (5) years leading product portfolios, and at least three (3) years of people management experience. Demonstrated success managing large-scale enterprise product portfolios & technology initiatives Experience in Retail and/or experience working with pricing or merchandising technology in an omnichannel environmentExceptional at working with and analyzing user metrics and turning them into actionable insights, including usage of analytics platforms.Deep expertise with Agile delivery, product discovery methods, and modern toolingStrong leadership skills and the proven ability to drive organizational changeStrong communicator & collaborator with great written, verbal, & presentation skillsPreferred Qualifications:
MBA or Master’s degree in strategy, management, or related field is a plusCertification in Agile and Scrum development practices is a plusExperience in user experience, research, and analyticsExperience in working with geographically distributed teamsThe pay range for this position is $119,300.00 - $170,000.00 / Year with the opportunity for eligible associates to earn additional compensation pursuant to the Company’s bonus plan. Exact pay will be based on factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, level, shift, geographic location, and business and organizational needs. Full-time positions are eligible for paid time off, health, dental, vision, life and disability benefits. Part-time positions are eligible for dental, vision, life, and disability benefits.
