THE IMPACT YOU CAN HAVE: The Senior Product Manager plays a pivotal role in evaluating market demands and motivating diverse product teams of Ulta’s OMNI fulfillment ecosystem to efficiently address those demands. Constantly optimize current omnichannel fulfillment (Ship to home, ship from store, Buy online pick up in Store, Same day delivery, Store to door, etc.), third party marketplace, social commerce to improve speed, accuracy, and inventory efficiency, and provide seamless and premium customer experience. This position is centered around delivering tangible business benefits, such as boosting sales, enhancing operational efficiency, and elevating customer satisfaction, by consistently producing high-quality products. YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH THESE GOALS BY: Plans and Coordinates (45%): Gain profound insights into the end user's needs and leverage that understanding to identify the most efficient route for delivering value swiftly. Transforms organizational objectives and user requirements into a strategic product plan. Conveys guidance and product priorities effectively to the development team. Leads cross-functional teams and managing complex product development initiatives Recognizes objectives, metrics, and analytics to assess the value of the product. Consistently offers suggestions and enhancements to the product backlog informed by acquired insights. Make enterprise-level prioritization and investment decisions to maximize the benefit & return to our guests and company based on alignment Ulta Beauty’s strategic priorities. Shapes forthcoming decisions by assessing the anticipated value to be delivered by leveraging strategic thinking and analytical skills Owns and leads the end-to-end product strategy, roadmap & prioritization aligned with company goals. Executes and Delivers (30%): Develops, evaluates, and fine-tunes assumptions and hypotheses through user research and testing. Documents, evaluates, and verifies compliance with all quality and change control standards. Generates, prioritizes, and approves user stories. Integrate them into the release planning process. Recognizes and evaluates the advantages, disadvantages, challenges, obstacles, dependencies, and value associated with features and enhancements. Engages in stand-up meetings, iteration planning sessions, product demonstrations, and retrospectives. Simplifies complex engineering concepts into easily understandable language for stakeholders. Facilitates and Empowers (15%): Lead a multi-product portfolio of products & cross-functional initiatives with significant business impact on revenue, and operational efficiency. Nurtures the development of product owners by offering guidance on contemporary software product development frameworks and leading discussions on industry trends. Manage vendor partners to solve guest & business problems and collaborate to drive for new innovations in products and services that best meet business needs & strategy Acquires Skills and Evolves (10%): Proactively seeks avenues for personal growth and acquires pertinent skills through both formal and informal developmental pathways. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Keeps a close eye on research and the competitive environment to suggest optimal solutions, ensuring that products either maintain or attain best-in-class status. Identify clear objectives, establishing relevant metrics, and leveraging analytics to gauge the value of the product. This entails setting specific goals aligned with business objectives, determining measurable metrics that reflect progress towards those goals, and employing analytical tools to track and interpret data accurately. By diligently monitoring these indicators, the team can effectively assess the impact and value of the product within the market landscape. ESSENTIALS FOR SUCCESS: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Business, or related field required Eight (8+) years relevant work experience with at least five (5) years leading digital product portfolios, and at least three (3) years of people management experience. 5+ years of people leadership with experience Demonstrated success managing large-scale OMNI fulfillment product portfolios Experience in Retail operating in a large-scale agile environment Exceptional at working with and analyzing metrics and turning them into actionable insights, including the use of A/B testing and analytics platforms. Deep expertise with Agile delivery, product discovery methods, and modern tooling Expert in Order Management and OMNI-Fulfillment centric product. Experience with contemporary product management practices in software development and proficiency in agile methodologies. Experience in communicating and influencing team members, from both business and technology, at all levels in the organization. Experience in conducting competitive research and analysis. Strong leadership skills and the proven ability to drive organizational change Active coach and mentor whose goals are to grow and maximize the teams’ potential Strong communicator & collaborator with great written, verbal, & presentation skills The pay range for this position is $119,300.00 - $170,000.00 / Year with the opportunity for eligible associates to earn additional compensation pursuant to the Company’s bonus plan. Exact pay will be based on factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, level, shift, geographic location, and business and organizational needs.
