We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to lead our product teams in delivering all project objectives on schedule and within budget, while fulfilling contractual, programmatic, and technical requirements. The ideal candidate will effectively measure and report on Earned Value (EV) performance. Key Responsibilities:
Delivery Oversight: Ensure technical quality, performance, cost, and schedule of product team contributions align with engineering and division processes, program policies, and industry best practices.SOW Adherence: Comply with the Integrated Product Team (IPT) Statement of Work (SOW) and implement rigorous change management, collaborating closely with program leadership.Resource Management: Identify and communicate staffing needs timely to enable seamless onboarding of resources necessary for achieving program objectives.Operational Improvement: Establish and maintain a structured business rhythm, including management reporting and efficient information flow to enhance operational systems and processes.Supply Chain Coordination: Collaborate with Global Supply Chain teams to manage suppliers and materials, ensuring alignment with product team targets.Risk Management: Take ownership of risks and opportunities, implementing and overseeing effective mitigation strategies.Collaboration Tools Development: Design and maintain collaboration tools that facilitate efficient and effective communication across all organizational levels.Basic Qualifications:
BS Engineering degree and 8+ years of experience or master’s degree and 6+ years of experience.Self-starter with strong technical problem-solving skills, an aptitude for understanding system and subsystem interactions and initiative to drive product development to closureExperience in systems engineering to include architectural studies, technical baseline definition, requirements & interface management, hardware/software integration, and test planning & executionExperience in space systems, spacecraft design, or mission operationsMust have US Citizenship with active or current Top Secret/SCI Clearance at time of applicationPreferred Qualifications:

Primary Level Salary Range: $118,600.00 - $178,000.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
