As a Senior Principal Architect at Johnson & Johnson MedTech, you will lead architecting global Commercial Sales & Marketing solutions that service all the business units in MedTech, using a Microsoft Dynamics 365 backbone but will also include other technologies, covering aspects such as Campaigns, Journey Management and the full Sales Life Cycle. A key aspect will be to ensure seamless integration with other areas like service & supply chain to form a connected customer experience, and integration with other applications that are part of the connected ecosystem.
This role also ensures that solutions not only meet business objectives but are also secure, reliable, maintainable and scalable.
Collaboration is key and the role will work closely with Product and Engineering Leadership and other architects, to balance business needs and diversity required with architectural practices and constraints. You'll also play an important role in mentoring teams, encouraging innovation, continuous learning, and inclusion.
An important part of your responsibilities includes ensuring solutions are maintainable and aligned with industry regulations. Staying informed about advancements in core technologies such as Dynamics 365, and emerging technologies will ensure that the solutions architected are innovative. Through these efforts, you will contribute significantly to the strategic growth and innovation of the organization.
**Key Responsibilities:**
Lead and develop the global architectures and designs for Dynamics 365 Sales and Marketing Solutions and other technologies, ensuring they align with business needs and objectives and balance feasibility, scale, cost and timelines.
Develop architectures that can connect seamlessly with other technologies such as websites, detailing, supply chain solutions and CPQ.
Collaborate with Product Management Leaders to establish the scope and vision of core capabilities, providing expert advisory support during the design and refinement process, identifying where 3rd party packages or custom developments are needed.
Be an authority for architectural practices and standards for core solutions, ensuring consistency and high quality across all capabilities.
Assess and optimize core solutions for performance, reliability, scalability and user experience, addressing technical debt and driving continuous improvement.
Provide continual guidance and technical leadership and mentoring to capability development teams and monitor solution health, identifying areas of technical debt.
Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, collaborating with product leadership to incorporate innovative practices into core capability design.
Build, align, prioritize and manage the capability architectural runway, backlog and risks.
Focus on collaborative innovation by being a partner with engineering, platform, and product teams to align solution design with business objectives and value.
Provide guidance to other architects and educate teams around incorporating best practices for incorporating security measures into every aspect of our designs.
Encourage innovation through continuous learning, mentoring team members, and driving personal development initiatives.
**Qualifications:**
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualifications in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
**Required Experience and Skills:**
+ 5 years of solution architecture experience with commercial SaaS platforms.
+ 10 years in IT, with experience of designing and delivering complex solutions.
+ Experience with multi-region implementations.
+ 2 years’ experience working with complex Data and Integration landscapes.
+ Strong track record delivering solutions in the Commercial domain
+ Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical people.
+ Demonstrable experience leading and mentoring technical team members.
+ Track record of understanding business needs and shaping requirements.
+ Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
**Preferred:**
+ MS Dynamics Solution Architecture experience highly preferred
+ Microsoft Dynamics 365 Certifications.
+ Experience with observability and application performance management.

**The anticipated base pay range for this position is :**
$122,000.00 - $212,750.00
Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).
Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:
Vacation –120 hours per calendar year
Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado –48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington –56 hours per calendar year
Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays –13 days per calendar year
