The ideal candidate should possess expertise in **semantic modeling, Power BI reporting, embedded Power BI development, self-service BI, data export and scheduling, data security, and Power BI REST APIs** . **Key Responsibilities:** + Develop and maintain **semantic models** to ensure efficient data structuring and accessibility. + Design and implement **Power BI reports and dashboards** to provide actionable insights. + Work on **embedded Power BI development** , integrating reports into applications and web platforms. + Facilitate **self-service BI** , empowering users to create and modify reports independently. + Manage **data export and scheduling** processes to ensure timely report delivery. + Implement **data security measures** , including row-level security and access control, to protect sensitive information. + Utilize **Power BI REST APIs** for automation, embedding analytics, and managing Power BI content. + Optimize **Power BI performance** and troubleshoot issues to enhance user experience. + Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand reporting needs and deliver effective solutions. **Required Skills & Qualifications:** + Proficiency in **Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, and Power BI Embedded** . + Strong understanding of **DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and Power Query (M language)** . + Experience in **semantic model creation and optimization** . + Knowledge of **self-service BI best practices** . + Familiarity with **data export, scheduling, and automation** . + Expertise in **data security, governance, and compliance** . + Ability to work with **SQL databases, Azure, and other data sources** . + Experience with **Power BI REST APIs** , including embedding, administration, and governance.
