Responsibilities

Architect and deliver compelling, interactive Power BI dashboards that drive strategic insights across functionsLead semantic model design and optimization for scalable, performant reporting with curated metrics and calculated columnsApply advanced DAX for complex logic, layered analytics, and time-intelligence functionsIntegrate external and internal data sources using APIs, SQL, and Power Query; ensure data reliability and governance adherenceEnable Power BI Copilot integration to improve report usability, automation, and insights generationImplement and manage Power BI security including RLS and workspace governanceChampion enterprise BI adoption by fostering self-service enablement and high-value reporting practicesImprove reporting pipelines with CI/CD automation (e.g., deployment workflows, version control, environment promotion)Collaborate with engineering, data architecture, and business teams to ensure reporting aligns with data platform strategySupport data governance programs including data quality management, cataloging, and lineage tracking (Microsoft Purview experience a plus)Proactively engage stakeholders to understand requirements, translate business needs into technical artifacts, and deliver measurable value
