Sr Paralegal
Support Center - Irving

Provides legal and administrative support to the Associate General Counsel and other members of the Legal Department. Under the direction of attorneys, this position is responsible for managing and maintaining litigation, employment, securities, intellectual property, and other regulatory matters.

Manage and coordinate responses relating to various litigation, employment, and regulatory matters received by the Company or individual stores. Communicate with business partners and outside counsel based on functional area support.Conduct research on various matters to identify and analyze issues, coordinate the gathering of information, materials, reports and other documents in connection with desired and currently held intellectual property, as well as audits or investigations.Manage and respond to discovery, subpoenas, and service of process.  Organize and maintain legal files; Develop and maintain legal and regulatory reports.Ability to conduct factual investigations, including witness interviews, independently related to litigation and employment matters.Support day-to-day administrative matters including word processing, drafting correspondence/reports, file maintenance, answering phones and processing mail. Assist other members of Legal Department as needed.

Preferred Education/Experience

Bachelor’s Degree or paralegal certificate

Preferred Special Certifications or technical skills

Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)Experience with DocuSign preferred

Minimum Type of Experience Required

6+ years of law firm or in-house corporate paralegal experience requiredKnowledge of methods and techniques of legal research and analysisKnowledge of standard legal department practices, procedures, and systems, including file and document management
