Discover Impactful Work: 

Assembly of Rapid product line, including Rapid Hit Cartridges, Primary Cartridges and Gel Cartridges within a cleanroom environment, filling of DNA reagents according to SOPs, with due regard to product availability and integrity. Decisions taken affect quality and integrity of products. 

A day in the Life: 

Instrument set up & calibration according to schedule. 

Maintaining laboratory housekeeping standards and consumable supplies. 

Leading and participating in process development/improvement projects, and giving the resolution of quality issues. 

Training of others. 

Participating in activities to support site safety. 

Maintaining training records to a high standard, in line with compliance regulations. 

Requirements:

Education 

GCSEs or equivalent required. 

Experience 

Working in ISO 7 clean rooms, full Tyvek gowning with personal hood PPE. 

Completion of documentation to GDP standards. 

Ability to balance multiple priorities and to work with strict attention to critical metrics and details.  

Excellent time management & interpersonal skills. 

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities 

Familiarity with Trackwise and OCPLM systems. 

Training and supporting new operators, with a view to signing off at level 3 (unsupervised) proficiency. 

Collaborating closely with Engineering to report & resolve breakdowns in a timely fashion – dedication to minimizing production downtime.
