Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Occupational Therapist, you will provide essential in-home occupational therapy services under physician's orders. Your role involves evaluating home safety, assessing functional needs, and implementing tailored treatment to promote independence.
Every day you will evaluate home safety, assess functional needs of physically disabled patients, then develop, plan, and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment procedures.
To be successful, you will demonstrate strong assessment, treatment planning, and implementation skills for in-home care. Excellent communication for patient education and a commitment to promoting independence and safety are essential.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's or higher degree Occupational Therapy and must have a minimum of 10 yrs. as a practicing OT, for part-time/full-time staff, including demonstrated teaching responsibilities & evidence of continuing education, upon hire andCasual per diem staff minimum of 2 yrs. experience andPart-time/full-time staff must demonstrate advanced clinical expertise in a specialized area andNew applicants must present documentation of continuing education or experience. andUpon annual appraisal, must demonstrate participation in external continuing education or experience. andExperienced therapists with 1 year equivalent of pediatric experience will apply/obtain CCS paneling within 6 months of hire.Occupational Therapist: CA, upon hire andBasic Life Support - CPR required.
