**Job Title: Sr Network/Telecom Engineer**
**Job Location: Costa Rica**
**Position Summary:**
This position provides a phenomenal opportunity to help Unified Communications within a sophisticated environment. As a Microsoft Teams engineer, you will be an SME in Teams Voice solution development and implementations, driving the migration of legacy PBXs globally to Microsoft Teams. Knowledge of O365/Skype for Business/MS Teams and SIP will be crucial to your success. You will deploy and support our Microsoft Teams Voice Platform globally, with responsibilities including system monitoring, major outage management, ticket resolution, project management, and coordinating telecom vendors to ensure flawless service delivery.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Complete PBX migration via Microsoft Teams Enterprise voice.
+ Plan, design, deploy, and support Teams Voice and associated network, device, and telephony infrastructures.
+ Provide an outstanding employee experience when interacting with business colleagues.
+ Maintain P1 incidents and coordinate the day-to-day tickets for voice infrastructure.
+ Perform monthly analysis and provide necessary reports.
+ Participate in the on-call rotation to support the business 24x7.
+ Develop cost estimates and proposals for new system requirements.
+ Assume technical project ownership and contribute significantly to team efforts.
+ Identify business requirements and recommend solutions to problems.
+ Build and maintain comprehensive documentation.
+ Align with the company’s Global IT Policies & Procedures.
**Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor’s degree or 8-10 years of experience in supporting Enterprise VoIP, with at least 3 years of MS Telephony experience.
+ Expertise in Microsoft Team Voice integration and design for Enterprise Voice Solutions.
+ Experience with Ribbon Communications Session Border Controller.
+ Proven Teams Voice Deployment and Direct Routing experience.
+ Proficiency with MS Teams endpoints including IP phones.
+ Skilled in PowerShell scripting.
+ Knowledge of various PBXs such as Avaya, Cisco, and Media Gateways SIP trunks.
+ Experience in the design, configuration, and expansion of Microsoft Teams and Avaya VoIP.
+ Strong project management skills with a proven track record.
+ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and quickly address networking issues.
+ Strong analytical skills to translate customer business needs into operational requirements.
