We are developing the future of Army Aviation with the MV-75 Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA), part of the US Army’s Future Vertical Lift (FVL) modernization effort. Sr. Military Proposal Specialist
Bell has an opening in our Fort Worth, TX headquarters for a Sr. Military Proposal Specialist to support the Bell Enterprise and Textron with solicitation strategy, proposal response management, and development of quality responses. Bring your experience and ideas and help us develop compliant, compelling, winning proposals that reflect the Bell Brand. As a Sr. Military Proposal Specialist, you will report to the Manager of the Capture Support Team (CST), and work across the Textron Enterprise to prepare, edit and submit finalized responses and proposal documents. Assists CST in maintaining the proposal schedule, planning, development, configuration control, and submittal of compliant compelling responses. You will also work to lead and direct internal and external support to communicate proposal responses in various ways, including graphic layouts, PowerPoint presentations, and SharePoint management. You will lead the development of templates for all future proposals and drive to an established cadence.

Assess current enterprise-wide best practices and processes related to competitive proposals and develop future state recommendations based on benchmarking comparisons and in-depth reviews with internal and external SMEs on a basis of continuing improvementSeek out internal and external training and development opportunities to advance understanding of new proposal concepts and practicesDevelop ongoing training and development exercises to ensure enterprise readiness for major proposalsPlan and lead the development and review of proposal strategies, themes, and support the development of proposal management plans as required to include formatting and publication of final documentsLead cross-functional teams to ensure timely development and delivery of proposalsWe’re more than aviation experts, we’re pioneers. Bachelor's Degree with Major in Engineering, Finance, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field5 years' experience in business operations, marketing, manufacturing, engineering, finance, or similar roleProficiency with full suite of Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Share PointExperience managing a proposal or portions of a response to major Department of Defense customers, foreign militaries, and (commercial) state/local governmentProposal Management Certification (APMP/Shipley) or formal proposal development and management training is preferredRotorcraft and/or aerospace industry experience is strongly preferredPrior US Government / US Embassy experience is preferredWhat we offer you in return
