Raytheon’s Naval Systems & Sustainment Strategic Business Unit seeks an experienced Sr. Program Manager. This position will be part of the Ship Systems Integration team.  You will have responsibility for successful development, production, delivery, ship integration, technology insertion, change management and upgrades across the Polar Security Cutter (PSC), T-AO and AS(X) platforms.

** This is an onsite position and can be based at either of our locations in San Diego, CA, Tewksbury, MA, Ft. Wayne, IN, Portsmouth RI or Pascagoula, MS.

What You Will Do:

Responsible for quality, schedule, performance, cost, and leads the integrated product teams (IPTs) to coordinate functional support.This leader is also responsible for growing the business both domestically and internationally.Supports requested Program and Corporate Program Management Excellence reviews and drives all required actions to closureAbility to work cross functionally in a matrix environment This role requires travel up to 50% of the time between San Diego, CA, Pascagoula, MS and other domestic shipyards.

Qualifications You Must Have:

A University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 7 years’ experiencePrior Experience with Cost and Schedule Management Prior Project/Program management experience

Qualifications We Prefer:

Master’s degree in engineering, Science or MathematicsDemonstrated ability to resolve complex issues with cross-functional partners, i.e. Operations, Supply Chain Experience with shipyard execution or similar background Strong interpersonal skills for leadership, teamwork and customer relationshipsCapture Management Certification Experience in the contracting process including proposal preparation & negotiations, leadership briefings, and Risk/Opportunity Management Earned Value Management CertificationDemonstrated experience working with Navy CustomersExperience with transition to production of new design, first time build, and tech insertions Experience managing multiple contracts 12+ years of experience to include leadership rolesRaytheon Program Management Certification (Level 5) or equivalent or the ability to obtain within 12 months of hire

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
