**Position Summary:**
We are seeking a strategic and technically adept **Senior Manager** to lead our **Web Development and Custom Software Delivery** teams. This role is responsible for driving the design, development, and deployment of scalable, high-performance web applications and custom software solutions that align with business objectives and enhance guest experiences across our digital platforms.
**Key Responsibilities:**
**Leadership & Strategy**
+ Lead and mentor cross-functional teams of developers, architects, and project managers.
+ Define and execute the web and software delivery roadmap in alignment with business goals.
+ Collaborate with product owners, UX/UI designers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
+ Champion agile methodologies and continuous improvement practices.
**Technical Delivery**
+ Oversee the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) for web and custom applications.
+ Ensure high-quality code, performance optimization, and adherence to security standards.
+ Manage integrations with third-party platforms, APIs, and enterprise systms.
+ Drive innovation in architecture, frameworks, and development tools.
**Operational Excellence**
+ Establish KPIs and metrics to measure team performance and delivery success.
+ Manage budgets, vendor relationships, and resource allocation.
+ Ensure timely delivery of projects within scope and budget.
+ Implement DevOps practices for CI/CD and automated testing.
**Stakeholder Engagement**
+ Communicate technical concepts and project status to non-technical stakeholders.
+ Partner with business units to identify opportunities for digital transformation.
+ Advocate for user-centric design and accessibility standards.
**Qualifications:**
+ A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline.
+ 8+ years of experience in web development and software engineering.
+ 3+ years in a leadership or management role.
+ Proven experience with modern web technologies (e.g., React, Angular, Node.js, .NET, Java).
+ Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and microservices architecture.
+ Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
+ Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
+ Knowledge of Traditional and Agile software development lifecycles and methodologies.
+ Experience with the creation and consumption of Web Services.
+ A sound understanding of content management systems.
+ Experience in a large media, technology or internet company.
+ Success at achieving sophisticated technology goals on-time and on-budget.
+ A comfort level with complex, matrixed organizations containing a certain amount of ambiguity.
**Preferred Skills:**
+ Experience in the travel, hospitality, or entertainment industry.
+ Familiarity with digital experience platforms (DXPs) and content management systems (CMS).
+ Knowledge of data analytics, personalization, and A/B testing frameworks.
+ Certifications in Agile, Scrum, or cloud technologies.
