Summary

Sr. Program Manager will provide business and technical leadership for major, high-complexity programs within Integrated Supply Chain, leading program/project teams through the prioritization, initiation, development and implementation processes.  Sr. Program Manager will lead business case development through Capital Expenditure approvals.  This person will interact with and influence senior stakeholders.  Sr. Program Manager will be responsible for ensuring projects/programs are on-time and on budget.

Essential Duties

Accountable for project/program team performance, program schedule and execution, budget commitments and spendInteracts through program updates and reviews with all functions and levels of management ensuring effective ongoing communications across teams and stakeholdersEnsures proactive identification and communication of project risks, development of risk plan and proactive management of risk response strategiesAnticipates potential conflict situations for proactive solutions and manages conflict situations to result in win-win outcomesMaximizes business results through continuous improvement in organization's ability to execute programs from identification through implementationConflict Resolution - Anticipates difficult situations and guides the team to proactive business solutions resulting in effective and agreed upon outcomesMay manage all ISC activities for acquisition integration projects ensuring value targets are realized

Qualifications

Excellent communication and people skillsUnderstanding of Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Laboratory or Clinical Practices and Product Development Process requirementsExpertise in all aspects of program managementDemonstrated ability to supervise and develop othersPMI or IPMA or equivalent certification desired

Education

MBA/MS or Bachelor’s degree required. Seven years of complex project/program management experience with demonstrated success leading multi-site, global or enterprise-wide programs in the medical products industry. Experience working in an Operations functional area or site is preferred.  8+ years of experience in a related field.

At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The minimum salary for this position is €56,000.00 annually. Your initial pay could be at the minimum or higher based on location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors, all of which are subject to change. This position may also be eligible for competitive benefits, discretionary bonuses, and/or long-term incentive.
