The Operations Lead is responsible for managing all aspects of operations, establishing, and executing production and quality objectives. The Operations Lead recommends and implements processes and operating plans to ensure safety, quality, operational efficiency, and cost effectiveness. This position joins the Woven Electronics Operations Leadership Team team within the Mission Systems SBU. We deliver trusted solutions that keep our customer connected, informed, aware and mission ready. As a team, we exist to help our customer complete their missions and return home safely. The successful candidate will join us in fully embracing & adopting the Collins Management System. **Primary Responsibilities:** · Overall responsibility for the operational performance of the value streams located within the Nogales site, including safety, quality, cost, delivery and inventory as well as leading the sites in operational excellence and lean transformation. · Represent Collins Aerospace in business dealings with property landlord and contract service providers. In particular, the Senior Manager understands and complies with the terms of the established maquila agreement at the site. · Serves as the point of contact for Collins Aerospace with local contractor on personnel, performance management and payroll topics. · Oversees and directs cost reduction efforts and process improvements to ensure efficiency of operations and cost effectiveness. · Work closely with the SIOP team to oversee and directs scheduling to ensure that the plants meet established targets and standards. · Collaborate on materials, logistics and customs problem resolution for availability of materials and smooth operations. · Interfaces with customers (internal and external) to understand customer needs and issues and ensure that the customers receive exceptional quality and on-time delivery of products delivered from Nogales. ​ ​ **Basic Qualifications** : · Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of prior relevant experience OR · Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years experience · Candidate must be bilingual (Spanish/English) and able to communicate effectively through both verbal and written media. **Preferred Qualifications:** · Master’s degree or MBA preferred · Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of prior relevant experience OR · Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 14 years experience OR · In absence of a degree, 18 years of relevant experience is required Candidate must have proper work authorization. _RTX adheres to the principles of equal employment.
