Shift: First Shift (Mon - Fri)
Compensation: $22.00/HR

Location: Rochester, NY - 1600 Lexington Avenue

In our Transportation/Shipping role as a Sr Material Handler, you'll be part of a world-class team dedicated to flawless execution and outstanding service.

A Day in the life:

Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move and store materials strictly according to safety standards.Ensure accurate and timely picking, packing, and shipping of materials to meet customer demands.Conduct regular inventory checks and maintain accurate records to support our ambitious goals..Adhere to company policies and procedures to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.

Education:

 

High school diploma or equivalent required.

 

Experience:

Required: Minimum of 1 year of work experience in distribution, warehouse or supply chain or related field. Licensed to operate stand-up truck experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

 

Must have basic understanding of SAP, and use of weigh scales.Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations in a transportation/shipping environment.Must be able to perform simple math such as add, subtract whole numbers.Must be able to read, write, and understand the English languageKnowledge in MS Office including Microsoft Word and ExcelMust have excellent hand/eye coordination skills, and the ability to lift and load pallets with weights up to 50 pounds.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in New York is $16.86–$22.48.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
