**Job Description**
**About the Team**
The Sr. Manufacturing Engineer leads complex projects focused on process improvement, new product integration, and technology advancements while ensuring manufacturing efficiency, equipment reliability, and adherence to quality standards. This role requires strong engineering expertise, cross-functional collaboration, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement and problem-solving.
**What you can look forward to as Sr Manufacturing Engineer:**
+ Lead and manage projects related to process improvements, new product introductions, and technology upgrades.
+ Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget.
+ Acquire and analyze data to define problems and determine the results of changes.
+ Provide technical support to production teams to resolve process-related issues.
+ Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to address process failures.
+ Solve acute and chronic equipment reliability issues using physics, engineering principles, and technology.
+ Implement and maintain quality control systems to achieve zero-defect production.
+ Develop and implement optimal, cost-effective manufacturing processes and methods in accordance with product specifications and quality standards.
+ Train maintenance technicians on technology and root cause analysis (RCA) processes.
+ Generate reports on process performance, project status, and improvement initiatives.
+ Complete small to large-scale projects designed to eliminate waste in a timely manner.
+ Work closely with design, production, and quality teams to ensure seamless integration of new processes.
+ Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including customers and suppliers, to address technical requirements and improvements.
+ Implement company goals within a team structure and as an individual.
+ Require little to no supervision from the manager and fill in for the process engineering manager when needed.
+ Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
**Your profile as Sr Manufacturing Engineer:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field with a minimum of 8 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
+ Capable of reading mechanical CAD drawings with an understanding of drafting principles. GD&T knowledge is recommended.
+ Familiarity with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 quality standards.
+ Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen techniques.
+ Proven ability to lead and manage projects related to process improvements, new product introductions, and technology upgrades.
+ Experience in coordinating cross-functional teams to meet project milestones on time and within budget.
+ Capable of reading electrical schematics.
+ Experience with PFMEA software.
+ Knowledge of electrical systems, with a preference for Rockwell, Siemens, and other control systems.
+ Experience in the development and execution of designed experiments (DOE).
+ Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and methods.
+ Training in Green Belt/Black Belt Six Sigma with practical experience is preferred.
+ Experience with Poke-Yoke equipment and processes.
+ Knowledge of robot programming, with a preference for Stäubli and Universal Robotics
