This role is part of the HR Technology team at Schwab, and will lead the Hyderabad Workday Center of Excellence team focused on enhancing the employee experience, improving capabilities and efficiency for the HR business team and well as foster team collaboration and engagement. You will have the opportunity to build and lead a technical team focused on the support of Workday, as well as release management procedures, in the support of Workday - the core HRIS system at Schwab. Experience in technical leadership of Workday engineers and analysts is required. Experience managing timelines, progress/status communications is required. Supporting and maintaining Workday HCM, Payroll, Talent Management and Benefits, with experience in tenant management and release management Collaborating across development teams to help manage releasesLeading technical team of Workday engineers that will provide tier 2/3 support, testing/QA support, and Release to Production supportPartnering with Scrum Masters, Product Managers, Development Leads and Business leads in troubleshooting, action planning and resolving medium to large problems in our HR Technology environments.What you haveRequired Qualifications
7+ years of Workday Platform experience, including 2+ years in team leadership, contributing to the Workday implementation(s) of HR products – HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Learning, RecruitingBest of Suite / Workday experience a plusProven ability to drive and implement product roadmaps, manage complex projects and lead strategic initiativesStrong communication, analytical and collaboration skills, with experience interacting at all levels of an organizationAgile experience and familiarity with production delivery release processesExcellent written and oral presentation skills leading to successful interactions with technical and business audiences Leverages deep expertise to establish robust methods for efficient technical supportOptimizes methods for integrating, consolidating, and cleansing data with complianceLeads initiatives to establish advanced incident response methods and optimize processesImplements advanced QA testing methodologies and drives robust compliance verificationUtilizes functional expertise improve requirements management processes across teams, projects, or programsManages initiatives to optimize controls and manage cryptographic functionsOptimizes software design methodologies through effective leadership and process refinementExecutes advanced methodologies to refine software development processes and secure reliabilityOptimizes software release and deployment strategies to enhance quality and efficiencyLeads the execution of system design strategies for cloud-based environmentsPreferred Qualifications
