YOUR DAY TO DAY
The Sr Manager Business Operations ensures the efficient, scalable, and financially disciplined operation of the AI Factory. The role oversees business operations, financial governance, vendor and resource management, and operational rhythms to enable reliable, high‑performing delivery of reusable AI capabilities. The position ensures the AI Factory operates as a strategic engine for trustworthy, reusable, and valuable AI technical capabilities across PMI while enabling data‑driven decision‑making, cross‑functional alignment, and long‑term organizational sustainability.
MAIN RESPONSABILITIES
Business Operations & Governance
- Lead end‑to‑end business operations (financial governance, budgeting, forecasting, cost optimization), ensuring disciplined, scalable delivery.
- Maintain operating model alignment and governance mechanisms that support sustainability and clear decision‑rights.
Rhythm of Business & Performance Management
- Own the AI Factory Rhythm of Business (cadence, exec reviews, KPIs, maturity tracking, capacity planning, scorecards).
- Deliver high‑quality reporting and insights that drive alignment, accountability, and predictable execution across teams.
Intake & Demand / Capacity Planning
- Co‑manage intake and demand with Factory Ops; translate pipeline forecasts into staffing plans, skills roadmaps, and system capacity.
- Run an integrated capacity process that links upcoming use‑cases to budget envelopes, hiring milestones, and compute needs.
Vendor Relationship Governance- Govern vendor relationships (contract performance, SLAs, compliance, ways‑of‑working) to ensure cost‑effective, reliable delivery.
- Standardize onboarding, operating guidelines, and QBRs aligned to Ai Factory standards and PMI policies.
Team Leadership & Communications (AI Factory Leadership)
- Lead the Business Ops Comms stream: clear narratives, leadership updates, and stakeholder engagement across PMI Tech.
- Build a high‑performance team culture; coach, set expectations, and develop talent to increase analytical and communication impact.
AI‑Powered Ops & Decision Support
- Use AI to automate ops analytics (variance detection, forecast quality checks, risk signals), and produce scenario modeling for leadership.
- Deploy AI agents for financial controls & intake triage; raise the bar on speed, consistency, and insight quality across operations.
